The only Buschenschank that I know that works on Monday! Great place to chill and enjoy wine in impromptu vineyards atmosphere, highly recommend if you missed other places on weekend and only have Monday left! View over Vienna amazing as always and staff super polite + there are toilets !!! Reasonably priced (similar to all other places around)

Amazing setting to enjoy some wine and food in between the vines with a view of the city.

Authentic Austrian winery (HEURIGER) with a beautiful view above the whole city. Really good and fresh one I would recommend to take the liter liter ( 1 L of white wine in 1 L of soda) and the beef tartare is also amazing there. Family and dog friendly. Also open on Mondays, which is a big plus. Very few friendly staff and professional cook as well. And amazing experience for summer. Sunsets.

Had a great time there. Highly recommended but there's one big minus. Let's start with the plusses: + location: Right in the vineyards with a fantastic view + wine: Very good local whites. We tried the 2023 Nussberg Grüner Veltliner, the 2023 Nussberg Gemischter Satz and the 2017 Riede Weisleiten Gemischter Satz. The first two were perfectly good fresh young Austrian wines, the third was fantastic. + food: all the standards we tried were great: Steinberg Jause, high quality, delicious charcuterie plate, Bio Leberpastete is also fantastic. I was a bit disappointed by the Kalbskopf with chanterelles (a special, not on the standard menu). It was high quality as well, just a bit bland in my opinion. + service: all of the very stressed out young staff were perfectly lovely. Now to the one big minus: - the concept: They're trying to update the traditional "Heuriger" concept. Nothing wrong about that, try something new, I'm all for it. Unfortunately the way they do it is strictly worse. For those who don't know, the traditional way is, you have table service for drinks and for food you go to the bar, select what you want and pay by weight. Here, it's self service for food and drinks and you select dishes from a menu, so no mixing and matching. I don't mind the latter point so much, the food is really good, better than at a typical Heuriger, and I understand it helps with planning ahead. Still, the way it works, ordering at the bar and then having the cooks shout out table numbers that nobody clearly hears if you're not sitting close to the bar seems just stressful for everyone. The real downgrade is that there's no drinks service. It means that you have to queue up for ~20 minutes for a glass of wine, which again means that you basically have to buy by the bottle, which you'll always low-ball. Then you're sitting at your table dry, eyeing the line, deciding whether you want to queue up again, behind 20 people who are going to debate if their salad is gluten free or whatever, just for another drink. Seems sub-otimal.

Had a full moon rise over wineyard scenery with grand view to Vienna. Wine is excellent (esp Pet Net & Ried Sternberg Veltliner) and food, too. Go go go and make sure to go for a swim in Krapfenwaldlbad before to maximize the experience.
